The Library is Open.
The main entrance to the library is the same. Our 24-hour book drop is open. It is located in the back of the building of the new addition- the northeast corner. Additional parking has been added to the front and side of the building.
MASKS REQUIRED: Effective 8/11/21 Parkland Community Library is now requiring masks regardless of vaccination status for everyone aged 2 and up due to the recent surge of COVID-19 Delta variant in Lehigh County. Masks and/or face coverings must be worn inside the library and worn during all indoor library programs on or offsite.
CURBSIDE PICK-UP IS AVAILABLE for those who cannot wear a mask, and for anyone else who would like to use this service. If you need a mask, please request one at the circulation desk. Thank you for your cooperation!

The Parkland Community Library has joined forces with local libraries to form the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative (LCLC)! Together we all share one library card and catalog expanding the collection to over 550,000 items. Stop by the Circulation Desk to sign-up for a new LCLC library card. Please be sure to bring your current library card and a valid photo ID that verifies your name and current address with you.
3 Clicks to Access Over 550,000 Items
You may remember that we migrated to a new public catalog system called SPARK back in August 2018. That migration then was to help us prepare for resource sharing among all of the LCLC libraries now. Thanks to SPARK's functionality and the 11 LCLC library collections being cataloged within it, you have access to over half a million items!
To find items within the entire LCLC collection, you must first navigate to our catalog and type what you're looking for into the search box. Then, to the right of the search box, click on the Library dropdown menu, click "Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative" from the top of the list, and click the "Search" button. Three clicks! It's that easy!
