There will be no curbside pickup and no returns accepted. 

We have been notified that one of our employees has been exposed to the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. As such, employees working at Parkland Community Library may have been exposed to this virus. 

Returns- Please hold your returns until we reopen, or they can be returned to another LCLC library. Fines will not be issued during this COVID-19 closure. 

Holds- Can be picked up when we reopen. Notifications will not be resent. Items will be held for 4 business days after we reopen.

2021 Scholarship in Honor of Alice Madden and Norm Dietrich
The deadline to apply is June 30, 2021. 

About

An annual scholarship created in memory of Alice Madden and Norman Dietrich awards $500 prizes to individuals every spring. 

The Friends Scholarship is available to Parkland Community Library's teen volunteers, all 2021 graduates and graduating seniors that are continuing their educational pursuits. The teens must have volunteered with The Friends of the Library or Parkland Community Library. The scholarship is also open to library staff members who are continuing their education. Congratulations to our 2020 winners: Ga Young Lee, Imran Ali Dharamsi, and Daniel Oravetz. Special thanks to scholarship committee members Ila Dietrich, president, Pat Elliott, and Lorna Rabe.

The Friends of the Library 2021 Save Around/Enjoy the City Books fundraiser is back! Books are on sale at the PCL Circulation Desk. Suiteside pickup is available. We will be following social distance guidelines. Masks are required. Please bring a folding chair in case the pavilion is unavailable.
